It's All in the Details
From the Mother of the Bride

Weddings are different from when we got married! We were married in the church and had the reception in the church basement. Not now. Weddings are held at an all-inclusive venue. That's not a bad thing. Venues often include wedding planning services, a list of vendors, a set of decorations, bridal suites, and cleaning services. With all the extra help, weddings should basically plan themselves. No! MOBs are still very much needed to help the bride navigate deadlines, pricing, and timelines for all these services. Personally, my daughter wanted me to be very involved, and I loved every minute of it! The most important thing to remember is that this is their wedding, and some of your great ideas may not get their final approval. Don't worry; you'll just come up with a different great idea they'll love! I've put together a few checklists that I think will be helpful as you help plan your daughter's wedding.
