Mom and Dad have taken very
good care of the lavender field this summer. They have placed gravel
rock on either side of the rows to hold the weed fabric in place.
Grass has been sown between the rows, and Dad has even had the lawn mower
in the field.
We have already had our first frost for the
season. Because the field is on a slope away from the winter winds,
we hope the plants will be naturally protected as they go dormant for the
winter.
These pictures were taken on Thanksgiving Day
2005.
