Grosso plugs were purchased from a nursery. They arrived very healthy and ready to transplant into 2 1/4" pots.
The family came together on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to repot.
On April 16, 2005, 400 plugs were repotted and placed in the greenhouse.
The field chosen for our lavender is located right next to the house.
Bill took care of the preparing the field.
The plugs quickly grew and were soon ready to plant in the field.
On Thursday, June 16, 2005, the county extension agent helped prepare the mounded rows, weed fabric, and drip tape.
On Sunday, June 19, Father's Day, we set 381 plants.
By the beginning of August, the plants were showing significant growth.
By October, the gravel had been placed along the rows, and the lavender plants look great!
