medicinal uses from inducing sleep to eliminating headaches. All of this creativity and knowledge is taking place in the rolling hills of Bracken County at 229 Conrad Ridge Road in Brooksville, Kentucky, as a new crop addition to the three-generation run family farm and recently approved participant in Kentucky Proud. The farm is now producing over a dozen types of lavender and adding a u-pick garden for next season. Many items from their gift shop including wreaths and fragrance wands to cleaning items and recipe cards (with the right amount of lavender included) will be available at their Wool Fest booth. For more information visit www.lavenderhillsofkentucky.com, stop by the farm Saturday or Sunday 12-6 p.m., and of course stop by their booth at this year’s Wool Fest. |
